Update On Samoa Joe’s Return To Raw, Gallows and Anderson Heading To Japan?

Samoa Joe has not returned to WWE RAW action because he’s still not medically cleared to compete.

Joe is currently a part of the listed RAW roster, but he hasn’t shown up for any of the RAW episodes in the last few weeks. The Samoan Submission Machine was suspended for a Wellness Policy violation last month, which expired around WrestleMania, but he hasn’t returned to full-time programming.

Apparently, Joe’s concussion, which he suffered during the shoot for WWE’s RAW: Must be Monday commercial, is still affecting his in-ring return, as the officials haven’t cleared him yet, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Joe hasn’t had the best fortune with injuries, as he suffered a broken thumb back in September, which prevented him from competing in the ring. He joined RAW commentary during that time period, before making his return in December.

However, a month later he suffered a concussion during a RAW episode, forcing him out of action for a week, and then another concussion during the shoot of the commercial. Shortly after that, Joe was caught in violation of the Wellness Policy, ruling him out of the WrestleMania season.

Joe was partnering with Kevin Owens and Co. in their battle against The Messiah Seth Rollins and his buddies. However, Joe’s constant injuries led to Owens recruiting alternate backup.

It is unclear when Joe will return to the ring, and hopefully, he gets a proper run without facing any hiccups.

Two former members of the RAW roster, Gallows and Anderson, were terminated by WWE this week, and it seems like they have found a new home already. Anderson tweeted a video, hinting the return of the Machine Gun, which was his gimmick during his NJPW days.

Luke Gallows retweeted it in support of his tag-team partner, and it seems like both the individuals will be carrying on as a duo going forward. They released some brand new merch this week, with Gallows returning to his ‘Doc Gallows’ name.

It is unclear what future holds for the duo, but they’ll surely be a major prize for whichever promotion they end up in.
