Vince McMahon Banking on Two Big Returns for WrestleMania 37

Big returns are always an exciting part of the WrestleMania season and, according to WrestlingNews.co, Vince McMahon is counting on Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey to make their return to the company for a program that will cumulate at WrestleMania 37.

According to the report, a source told them that things are on track for Rousey and Lynch to have a singles match at WrestleMania 37.

“Vince is hoping for Becky to be back in January or February to start the one on one feud with Ronda,” said the source.

The source also noted, however, that the match between the two might also depend on if WWE can have crowds during WrestleMania.

“Vince wants WrestleMania to be the show that says ‘WWE is back’. We can’t do Becky vs. Ronda in the Thunderdome with no fans. He wants the fans back and they will be back by the time Mania rolls around.”

Lynch was last seen on WWE TV when she relinquished her Raw Women’s Championship during the May 11 episode of Raw as she was pregnant. She is due to give birth in December.

Rousey, on the other hand, has been gone for a long time. Her last match was a triple threat she lost to Lynch at WrestleMania 35. Rousey allegedly stepped away from the ring because she was going to concentrate on starting a family.

Rousey has been stirring rumors of a return by allowing other wrestlers to post photos of them training with her in the ring. The most recent of these would be Impact Wrestling’s James Storm who posted on Instagram this Friday that he was training with both Rousey and her husband, MMA fighter Travis Browne.
