Baron Corbin will be squaring off with Samoa Joe and Ricochet in the Triple Threat Semi-Finals Of The King Of The Ring tournament next week on Monday Night RAW.

Ever since his main roster debut, Corbin has received a lot of opportunities than his peers, and despite choking time and again, Vince McMahon continues to push him as one of his favorite Superstars.

On Oh, You Didn’t Know patreon, Brad Shepard reported that people close to the CEO have been trying to convince him that the Lone Wolf isn’t a profitable box-office draw as champion.

“According to a source in WWE, Vince McMahon loves Baron Corbin, but people close to Vince have told him they believe Corbin wouldn’t be able to “put asses in seats” as the champion.”

Only time will reveal whether Corbin has go-away heat or real heel heat, although gambling with a prestigious title around his waist to determine the answer doesn’t sound like a good idea.

At this point, Corbin has every chance to win the 2019 King Of The Ring in less than two weeks at Clash Of Champions. WWE brought the tournament back this year with the sole purpose of pushing a particular Superstar and the bald-headed heel could be the chosen one.

Meanwhile, WWE has received an order from higher authorities that will prevent them from traveling to a particular location as part of their South American tour – Venezuela.

Brad Shepard noted on On You Didn’t Know podcast that Venezuela tried to bag WWE but in vain.

“According to a source in WWE, Venezuela tried to get WWE to come to their country during their South American tour and WWE was advised not to go by the State Department.”

Hopefully, Venezuela will get the opportunity to host a WWE show in the near future.
