Becky Lynch shocked the WWE Universe earlier this week when she announced that she was expecting her first child with former WWE Champion Seth Rollins. Asuka had a heartwarming reaction to the news as part of the episode of Raw where she gained the Raw Women’s Championship after Lynch was forced to relinquish the title and walk away from the company.
Many members of the WWE roster have since Tweeted The Man and congratulated her on her news, while the company has also released new merchandise for Lynch related to her recent news.
The big question following Raw was how Vince McMahon took the news that one of his biggest stars would now be on the sidelines for more than a year, and according to Wrestletalk, McMahon was happy for the couple.
WrestleTalk’s Oli Davis stated that according to his sources, Vince McMahon is fully supporting her decision to start a family with Seth Rollins and isn’t angry at her one bit.
While Becky Lynch is set to walk away from the company for an undisclosed amount of time, one star who has already been released from WWE is Curtis Axel. It’s been well documented that Axel was well-liked backstage and that Triple H was a huge fan of him but unable to give him the push that he deserved.
As part of the most recent episode of Arn Anderson’s podcast, host Conrad Thompson revealed that The Rock actually wanted a comeback storyline with the former Intercontinental Champion.
“Were you surprised that they never found any place for him? I mean, this is a guy who was praised in a major way, like even when The Rock was coming back and trying to get ready for a comeback, he would go to this guy and say ‘hey man let’s work together’. Very capable performer,” via Sportskeeda.
