Chad Gable recently made the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, defeating the likes of former NXT Champion Andrade and ‘The Best in the World’ Shane McMahon. Gable’s entry into the finals from SmackDown side was quite unexpected, and many felt it was a one-off push.

However, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is reportedly high on Gable, and his push will continue in the coming weeks.

Chad Gable destroyed Baron Corbin’s coronation ceremony on SmackDown Live, which looked like the start of a potential feud between the two finalists. Gable has struggled to find his feet on the main roster, which was quite frustrating.

Gable is a tremendous wrestler and can cut a decent promo as well. The former Olympian found great success in NXT as part of the tag-team American Alpha, but ever since the team broke up, he has received no significant push.

Chad Gable could be a solid mid-carder on any show, and it will be interesting to see how WWE books him from here on forth.

Regardless of the final outcome, it is great to see that WWE is ‘Ready, Willing and Gable’ to push Chad Gable.

Elsewhere, Chad Gable’s former tag-team partner, Jason Jordan, looks to be done with professional wrestling. It was reported in WON that Jordan’s in-ring career has possibly drawn to a close, and he will continue to work in his current backstage role.

Jason Jordan was chosen to be Kurt Angle‘s illegitimate son in 2017 and received a decent push for around six months. He was scheduled to contest against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, but a serious neck injuries resulted in him being on the sidelines.

Jordan, similar to Gable, was a tremendous wrestler. It is quite sad to see him retiring at the age of 30.
