WWE Can’t Decide Between Two Opponents for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37

It seems like WWE is having a tough time deciding the final match card for WrestleMania 37. Recently, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE is deciding between two opponents for Roman Reigns at the moment.

Meltzer revealed that Shinsuke Nakamura — even after his performance in the gauntlet match on Friday Night SmackDown — is not being considered as a challenger to Roman’s Universal Championship.

Daniel Bryan is one of the favorites as of now to win the Royal Rumble 2021 and challenge The Tribal Chief at WrestleMania.

On Smackdown, Reigns has two different opponents that are being considered so Bryan is not a lock, and at least as of this past week, Nakamura was not one of the two under consideration.

Meltzer also said that WWE has “no direction” for WrestleMania as of today.
