WWE Changing Plans for Raw Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions

WWE is making a change to the planned RAW Women’s Championship match for their upcoming PPV, Clash of Champions.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE originally wanted Shayna Baszler to take on Asuka for the red brand’s title but it seems like the plan has been shelved.

Shayna Baszler teamed up with Nia Jax to defeat The Golden Role Models at Payback and win the Tag Team Championships, which has taken her off the singles division for the time being.

Currently, Asuka is scheduled to take on Mickie James on RAW next week with her title on the line, and WWE could continue this rivalry until Clash of Champions.

Meanwhile, Baszler seems to be geared for a title defense against Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott, after Morgan pinned Baszler in a handicap match last week on RAW.
