Braun Strowman has been out of action over the past few weeks with a blood infection, something that The Monster Among Men revealed himself last week.
Strowman was able to make his return to Raw last night and wasn’t happy that he was forgotten when it came to naming stars for the Elimination Chamber match.
Strowman confronted Adam Pearce backstage and told him that he should give Shane McMahon a message and it was to make this right or things wouldn’t be pretty.
As already noted, Shane McMahon was on last week’s episode of Raw where he helped Pearce announce the match before leaving.
It was a bizarre way to bring McMahon back to TV, but to set up a feud with Strowman actually makes sense.
With John Cena making it clear that he is unable to wrestle this year at WrestleMania, Shane McMahon could have been asked to step in to help fill up the card on one of the nights instead.
WWE has two nights of entertainment to fill this year at WrestleMania, and Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon has all the makings of an instant classic if WWE is able to frame it well in the coming weeks.
