There has been a change in the date for the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view for 2021.
According to a report from PWInsider, the 2021 Elimination Chamber has now been set for February 21. It should be noted that, while this report has been picked up by several other news sites, there has yet to be an official announcement from WWE.
This new date for Elimination Chamber being reported by PWInsider is about a week earlier than was originally planned. The original date was to have been February 28.
There have already been several confirmed date changes for both this year’s Royal Rumble, originally January 24 and now January 31, and Wrestlemania 37, originally March 38 and now April 11.
The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is traditionally the second event for the year, in between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Last year’s Elimination Chamber was actually the last pay-per-view that the WWE was able to hold live.
The 2020 Elimination Chamber was the tenth pay-per-view of that name and was held at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia.
The 2021 Elimination Chamber will be the 11th version of this pay-per-view and will likely be still in the Thunderdome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
