WWE has been performing over the past few months without fans in attendance and recently unveiled the WWE ThunderDome which is expected to remain in place of live fans until at least October.
It’s well-known that the company has been pushing for the return of fans, but many states in America are retaining restrictions to reduce the risk of a second wave of COVID-19 infections.
WWE’s next big pay-per-view event is in November and that could be when the company looks to push for the return of fans.
If this isn’t the case, then there could still be a small number of live fans returning before the end of 2020, since AEW has already proved that this is feasible.
The company is expected to see the return of live fans ahead of next year’s Royal Rumble event.
WrestleVotes recently revealed that the company has a location in mind, but are monitoring the NHL and NBA next season when it comes to fan restrictions.
