The match continued and it was The Hurt Business that emerged victorious over the joint forces of Viking Raider, Apollo Crews, and Ricochet.
It was later reported that Ivar had suffered a serious injury and is set to undergo neck surgery in Birmingham, Alabama.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that it could take Ivar a year or even longer to recover, depending on the seriousness of his injury.
Ivar’s partner Erik was written off in a squash match by Bobby Lashley on this week’s episode of RAW.
