WWE Injury Update: Reported Timeline for Jimmy Uso’s Return

Jimmy Uso suffered a knee injury during the Ladder Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 36. The decorated tag team Superstar has been on the sidelines for all these months but it’s almost time for the Samoan to return to action.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Jimmy has undergone surgery and should return to action anytime between November and January.

Jimmy being sidelined allowed Jey to be involved in a singles feud with the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. At Clash Of Champions, Jimmy made a surprise return and threw in the towel, thus saving his twin brother from the inescapable wrath of The Big Dog.

While Jey and Reigns were both drafted to Friday Night SmackDown as part of the 2020 WWE Draft, Jimmy wasn’t included in the Draft at all due to him being currently injured.

At this point, the WWE Universe is concerned about the future of The Usos as a tag team. During the Draft, the company split The New Day and Heavy Machinery, causing fans to assume that the Samoan twins might as well meet the same fate.

It remains to be seen which brand Jimmy lands on following his imminent return to the ring.
