This year, WWE released a long string of wrestlers as part of a massive budget cut in April. Over 30 WWE superstars lost their jobs amid the ongoing global health crisis and the fans criticized Vince McMahon for making such a decision.
Since then, most wrestlers have moved on and joined other ventures. However, a new report now suggests that WWE is interested in bringing back No Way Jose, who renamed himself as Levy Valenz post-release.
The former WWE superstar unveiled a different look following his firing from McMahon’s company.
The fact that Fightful Select reports WWE wants to bring him back for another run is quite interesting. No Way Jose was never a serious character in WWE, and his efforts to entertain the fans weren’t also up to par.
If he is slated for another run in WWE, the creative might have thought of a better role for him. Perhaps, WWE isn’t interested in bringing him back on Raw or SmackDown, but Triple H’s NXT may have a role for him.
The company might kill his former gimmick entirely and propose an alternate, and a more serious, character for him.
