WrestleMania 36 didn’t exactly go to plan for WWE since the company was forced to go ahead with the show at the Performance Center without an audience.
Next year’s show is set to instead take place from The Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida to make up for the fact that this year’s show was unable to go ahead in that location.
Interestingly, for the first time since WrestleMania 31 in 2015, WrestleMania was set to take place in March but that now may not be the case. The date that WWE was working with as a provision was 03/28 but according to a report by WrestleVotes, the company could be looking to change that date to April.
The report believes that WWE could be looking at 04/11 or 04/18 which would allow them more time to ensure that fans would definitely be in attendance for the event.
The COVID-19 pandemic is far from over and the Road to WrestleMania is set to begin in just over two months’ time.
It appears that the longer the company can hold on for WrestleMania the more chance that they may have of welcoming back the WWE Universe, something that Vince McMahon is pushing hard to make happen.
