WWE currently has a contract with the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, where the company has managed to set up the ThunderDome, which they have use of until October.
Rather than go on to renew this contract with the Center when it expires, it appears that WWE has an interesting idea.
According to a report by WrestleVotes, WWE’s plan is to have Raw and SmackDown streamed from the same location as part of an outdoor venue.
Southern states would reportedly be the preference in order to avoid rain stopping proceedings, but it appears that this plan would allow the company to continue to present shows but they wouldn’t be locked down to a location like they are at present.
There is also then a chance that a small number of fans could be in attendance for these outdoor shows as WWE continues to push for a return to some kind of normalcy.
