The Revival’s current WWE contracts will expire shortly and there hasn’t been any sign of a potential renewal yet.

On Oh, You Didn’t Know Patreon, Brad Shepard reported that WWE has offered the Top Guys lucrative deals worth a combined $1 million/year. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder will also enjoy a lighter schedule under the new contracts.

“According to a source, WWE offered The Revival another new contract, in the ballpark of several months ago, and it included a lighter schedule in what was described as a ‘hell of an offer.’”

Rey Mysterio battled Andrade for the United States Championship on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. Mr. 619 had technically dethroned El Idolo but Zelina Vega’s brilliance forced the referee to override the decision and restart the match. Andrade retained the title this time around and unmasked the veteran Superstar following his victory.

On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed that although the WWE Universe had predicted a potential Hair vs. Mask match following Monday’s angle, there are currently no plans for such showdown between the two Mexican athletes.

This show is designed to make me mad – me, Bryan Alvarez. I’m certain of it right now. If you watched that show last night, there is no way you can watch that Rey, Andrade match, forget the finish, there is no way you can watch that match and the angle that they did later and not come to the obvious conclusion that they are going to do a Mask vs. Hair or Mask vs. Title match. Am I wrong? Is there anybody who watched that and didn’t come to that conclusion?”

Well, guess what! There is no mask stipulation coming up anytime soon. There are no plans to put Rey’s mask on the line.

There were rumors of a similar Hair vs. Mask match at WrestleMania 35 as well, but it appears that WWE is too reluctant to put Mysterio’s mask on the line anytime soon.
