WWE has been using their social media to promote their show much more in recent months, ever since All Elite Wrestling proved that they could develop a fanbase from just promotion on Social Media alone.

This time around, the company released a video of The Revival which showed the Raw Tag Team Champions on vacation, where they talked about their recent loss as part of an eight-man Tag Team Match on Raw that also included Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan.

Throughout the episode, the Champions took shots at The Usos before Scott Dawson claimed that if they show up on Raw or at Extreme Rules then they’re ready for a fight. It is thought that this could be leading to a showdown between the two teams at Extreme Rules in just over a week’s time.

The Raw Tag Team Championships haven’t been defended on pay-per-view since WrestleMania when Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder were able to win the Championships as part of the kick-off show.

The Revival then won the Championships on an episode of Raw and since they are now close friends of Shane McMahon, they haven’t been forced to defend them.

Talking of Extreme Rules, WWE steps into ECW Country for their most extreme pay-per-view of the year next weekend and much like Stomping Grounds the company has already begun offering fans 2 for 1 tickets.

Despite the offer, Stomping Grounds ticket sales were still poor with the paying attendance at the show reported to be between around 5,000 in an arena that could have held around 18,000. Pay-per-view buys for the show were reported to have been a record low with just 9,800 buys, which makes sense since most WWE fans watch the show on the WWE Network.

The fact that WWE is already offering 2 for 1 deal once again could be because the company is already aware that ticket sales for their second pay-per-view in a row are poor and want to avoid another record low attendance.
