WWE Performance Center Trainees Reportedly Complained About COVID-19 Safety Protocols

150 employees have reportedly tested positive for the novel coronavirus in WWE and Performance Center trainees are worried about returning to the gigantic training facility owing to the recent COVID-19 outbreak.

According to Raj Giri of WrestlingInc, Performance Center and/or NXT trainees have made formal complaints about safety protocols not being followed.

“Wrestling Inc. learned that it is internally believed that several trainees from the Performance Center and / or NXT talent made formal complaints about daily operations and protocols not being followed. A few weeks ago a couple of people spoke up at an NXT taping about what they called “anti-maskers” not following guidelines outside of NXT and training classes, while potentially putting others at risk due to their actions.”

The report further suggests that WWE is trying to ensure that all safety measures are being followed and trainees/Superstars must be “conscious about what they are posting on social media.”

Moreover, WWE could ban fans from attending shows if another outbreak happens down the line.
