WWE Planning a Huge Push For Kevin Owens on Raw

Kevin Owens has voiced his concerns with the current pandemic and working with WWE, but it appears that the former Universal Champion’s perseverance has paid off since WWE has implemented a policy where they fine wrestlers for not wearing masks thanks to KO.

Kevin Owens made his return last week on Raw and presented the Kevin Owens show, before facing off against Seth Rollins this week in a WrestleMania rematch.

The two men have been feuding since before WWE’s showcase in April and it appears that Owens could now be in line for a push back into the main event picture.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer noted that Owens is actually the backup plan in the feud between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins.

It was noted that Mysterio is currently working without a contract and if the former World Champion doesn’t sign a new deal with WWE then they will revert back to the storyline between Owens and The Monday Night Messiah.

Meltzer pointed out that this direction seemed to have been revisited last night because the two stars faced off on Monday Night Raw. This may be a spoiler as to who will pick up the win as part of The Horror Show at Extreme Rules this weekend since Meltzer concluded that the company could decide to revert back to Owens vs Rollins following Extreme Rules on Sunday night since Owens is figured high on the card at present.
