Bray Wyatt clashed with Universal Champion Braun Strowman at the Swamp this past Sunday at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules. The match had a very spooky finish – Wyatt pulled Strowman into the Swamp, the water then turned red and The Fiend appeared to laugh and end the pay-per-view.
WWE on FOX later announced Wyatt as the victor since the masked monster was the last man standing.
According to Ringside News, WWE has major babyface plans for Wyatt en route to SummerSlam. The Fiend will switch to a babyface avatar and victimize other babyfaces on the roster.
The plan sounds absolutely bizarre but given Wyatt’s badass persona, it’s possibly the most bankable idea for one of the biggest names in the company.
“Fiend is going to be a babyface and kill all other babyfaces again.”
WWE’s ultimate goal is to create a multiple personality persona for Wyatt, similar to the Three Faces Of Mick Foley.
As reported earlier, WWE‘s initial plans included a storyline between Otis and Wyatt. The program was supposed to involve Otis’ Money In The Bank briefcase too, but those plans were quickly dropped, thereby making The Heavy Machinery member directionless on SmackDown.
“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt will likely collide with Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam next month.
