WWE’s Plans for Reigns-Usos Storyline for the Next Few Months

This past week on SmackDown, Jey Uso turned heel and joined Universal Champion Roman Reigns as The Tribal Chief watched his cousin lay waste to Daniel Bryan.

WrestlingNews.co reports that WWE has plans to repackage The Usos. Both Jimmy and Jey will start wrestling shirtless, similar to Reigns. The Bloodline stable will also get new music and the “Day One Ish” theme will be replaced soon.

WWE has already mapped out the Reigns-Usos storyline for the next few months, so unless an injury occurs, things are expected to play out exactly as planned.

Furthermore, Vince McMahon is reportedly fully on board with the current direction for Reigns and The Usos.

As previously reported, the long-term plan is for The Usos to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship but that won’t be happening until Jimmy returns to action.

The current storyline is “meant to elevate Roman but also to bring Jimmy and Jey up to the next level as well.”
