The 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view is now just days away and it’s likely that the company is still yet to decide on a definite finish for the main event.
Last year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match was won by Drew McIntyre after a tense finish with Roman Reigns, but this year’s Rumble match could be set for a much more controversial ending.
According to a report by WrestleVotes, WWE is planning “a finish that scares the death out of me. And it’s legitimately getting heavy consideration.”
The site notes that there is a definite lack of details as part of the update but it is frightening reading. At present, Daniel Bryan is the favorite to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match but there are several other men in the match who could also be victorious.
There are also rumors that former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar could make his WWE return and could be the man who wins the Royal Rumble match and goes on to challenge Drew McIntyre to a WrestleMania rematch.
Luckily, the Royal Rumble match takes place on Sunday night so the WWE Universe don’t have long to wait until the finish of the Men’s Royal Rumble match is decided.
