WWE Reportedly Covering Up Braun Strowman’s Injury With Suspension

On Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman headbutted Adam Pearce during the opening segment. As a result, he was suspended indefinitely by WWE.

Previously, Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer noted that the current plan for TLC is for Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre to main event the show. Now, Meltzer has provided an update on Strowman’s suspension.

Meltzer said he heard that WWE suspended Braun Strowman to cover up for his injury. The Monster Among Men was supposed to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at TLC but the company made a last-minute decision.

Next week, AJ Styles, Riddle, and Keith Lee will face each other in a triple threat match to determine McIntyre’s next challenger.

If Strowman is really injured, then he may not get a title shot at TLC. Otherwise, WWE could still add him to the title match by doing an angle next week.
