WWE Reportedly Looking to Offer Kairi Sane a New Contract

There have been many conflicting reports regarding Kairi Sane and the fact that the former Women’s Tag Team Champion was looking to walk away from the company following her recent injury.

Sane’ contract with WWE expires this year and reports suggested that she was looking to return to Japan, with Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer stating that WWE wanted Sane to become an ambassador for the company in her native country.

There were also reports that Sane was looking to retire from WWE and head over to Japan to wrestle for one more year before calling it a day.

Sane also wanted to spend some time with her husband and recent reports suggest that her injury at the hands of Nia Jax a few weeks ago led to her questioning a number of things in her career.

According to a recent report by Alex McCarthy of TalkSPORT, WWE isn’t willing to let Sane leave and her retirement isn’t set in stone. The report suggests that the company wants to look after the Japanese star and are still hoping to offer her a significant raise if she re-signs her contract.

“They are set to offer her better money than she could get anywhere else in an attempt to keep her involved with the company, and it’s believed she could be swayed.”
