History was made on October 28, 2018, when WWE held the first all-women pay-per-view event Evolution. The historic show featured female Superstars from the past and present and pushed the Women’s Revolution to the forefront of WWE.
Since then, there have been multiple reports and rumors about the possibility of WWE hosting a sequel to Evolution. The WWE Universe including the talents have actively campaigned for another all-female PPV, and it’s possible that WWE is finally going to bring it to them.
According to Pro Wrestling Unlimited, WWE could be planning Evolution II for August 30th. SummerSlam, currently scheduled for August 23rd, could also have a second night, just a week after Evolution II.
Further reports suggest that Tessa Blanchard could also debut at Evolution II. The 24-year-old star has reportedly been on WWE’s radar since her firing from Impact Wrestling.
For what it’s worth, Evolution II would most likely take place at the Performance Center without any fans in attendance. As has been the norm for the last few weeks, WWE is likely to have developmental talents represent the live crowd.
The WWE Universe should indeed brace themselves for thee weeks of back-to-back pay-per-views if the latest reports are indeed true.
