WWE Reportedly Planning “I Quit Match” For Edge vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37

Since returning to in-ring competition at Royal Rumble, Edge has wrestled Randy Orton on two different occasions.

The Rated R Superstar scored a magnificent victory over The Viper in the Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36 but the 13-time World Champion evened the score by emerging victorious in the “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever” at Backlash.

Now, the veteran duo is set for the final chapter of their feud but the WWE Universe will have to wait a bit longer for that decisive showdown to take place.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Edge will collide with Orton in an “I Quit” match at WrestleMania 37.

The final match in the trilogy was originally scheduled to happen at SummerSlam but the Rated R Superstar’s untimely injury at Backlash forced WWE to change those plans.

While the plans for the reported “I Quit” match can change several times before the 37th edition of the Show Of Shows, the gimmick could be the ideal finish to the mega feud between two of the most decorated Superstars in WWE history.

It is to be noted that due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic, WWE is fully expected to change the planned location for WrestleMania 37 as well.
