Lacey Evans dropped quite the bombshell on Monday Night Raw last night when The Sassy Southern Belle declared that she was pregnant with Ric Flair’s baby.
It was later confirmed by both WrestlingInc and PWInsider that Evans is pregnant in real life and that WWE was forced to change the storyline at the last minute when they were given official confirmation.
Rather than write The Sassy Southern Belle off WWE TV in a different way, the company decided to go with the shock value of the announcement and will now continue to push Evans on Raw.
Unlike Becky Lynch and Maryse who left WWE TV following their pregnancy announcements, it appears that WWE could be set to think outside the box with Evans and allow her to continue her feud with Charlotte Flair throughout her pregnancy.
According to a report by Ringsidenews, WWE currently plans to keep the former NXT star on TV for at least the next few months until the storyline with Charlotte is wrapped up.
It’s unclear how this will happen since Lacey Evans isn’t allowed to wrestle or even take part in anything physical moving forward, but WWE could already have a plan in place.
