Rhea Ripley is no stranger to WWE’s main roster, after having been part of a feud with Charlotte Flair throughout last year’s Road To WrestleMania.
Ripley was also featured at WrestleMania itself where she lost her NXT Women’s Championship to The Queen as part of the two-night event.
Following the match, The Nightmare returned to NXT, and for almost a year, she has been grafting away in developmental, waiting for her promotion to the main roster.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer recently revealed that WWE had planned to have Rhea Ripley debut on Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago, but the plan was put on hold for a few weeks.
“Rhea Ripley is on the main roster. She was gonna debut a couple of weeks ago but they put it off for a couple of weeks. A couple of weeks is now.”
Ripley is expected to make her debut in the Women’s Royal Rumble match this weekend. The former NXT Women’s Champion wasn’t able to be part of the 30-woman battle royal last year and could make quite the impact on the company’s main roster if she is given her chance to debut on Sunday night.
