WWE Set to Honor Stone Cold Steve Austin as Part of His 25th Anniversary

A few months ago, WWE honored Triple H on his 25th Anniversary and it appears that Stone Cold Steve Austin’s 25th Anniversary with the company is coming up and WWE want to honor The Texas Rattlesnake.

Steve Austin signed with WWE back in 1995 but didn’t make his debut on WWE TV until January 1996, when he appeared on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

The former star has since gone on to have an illustrious career with WWE as a former four-time World Champion, 3-time Royal Rumble winner, 1996 King of the Ring winner, and was then added to the WWE Hall of Fame following his retirement class back in 2005.

A report by WrestleVotes states that WWE is set to release new merchandise for the former World Champion and he will have an anniversary show similar to Triple H’s. This will include a live appearance for the star when live audiences make their return in the fall.

Austin hasn’t wrestled in WWE since 2003 when he faced The Rock at WrestleMania 19 but he has remained active on WWE TV with many appearances as part of storylines and even as the host of The WWE Network’s biggest and most popular podcast, Stone Cold’s Broken Skull Sessions.
