The WWE Raw tag team of Andrade and Angel Garza is reportedly officially over.
This is being reported by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson who stated that sources have told him that “the Andrade and Angel Garza tag team is no more going forwards.”
The breakup is not exactly a surprise, as there have been teases and misunderstandings between the two for some time now. Not only are the two storyline in the outs with one another, but also with their former manager Zelina Vega.
Andrade and Garza last wrestled together at Clash of Champions pay-per-view in an unsuccessful attempt to take the Raw Tag Team Championships off the Street Profits. Garza was also injured during the match.
Meanwhile, Vega was also at the pay-per-view as a singles competitor. She went up against the Raw Women’s Champion Asuka but came up short after delivering a great performance.
There was a rematch on the following episode of Raw that she also lost, after which Andrade came out and called her a “weak link” along with the absent Garza.
There is no word on whether the split-up will result in a storyline feud. With the draft coming up, they might end up being literally split up by being drafted to different brands.
