2020 hasn’t been the best year for WWE. The fans aren’t present in the arenas and the company is also losing the ratings every single week.
This week’s Monday Night Raw set another record for WWE as the flagship show generated 1.53 million viewers this week, with a 0.49 rating in the crucial 18-49 demographic.
WrestleVotes reported that following Raw, WWE asked writers to make a list of underused talents who would shine once given the opportunity.
The Twitter account also said that WWE is now forced to take “reactionary decisions” over low viewership concerns.
AEW has been pretty consistent in beating NXT on Wednesday Nights. The Tony Khan led wrestling promotion is also giving strong competition to WWE in weekly ratings. It’ll be interesting to see how WWE will overcome the situation.
