WWE’s Touring Schedule Reportedly Not Expected to Resume Until 2022

WWE is currently producing live episodes of SmackDown and Raw from the Amway Center in Florida while the COVID-19 lockdown continues to affect many of their plans.

The company hasn’t toured or produced live events on location since March when the Performance Center became their home.

Even though there is talk of restrictions being lifted in the coming months, it appears that WWE isn’t set to resume their original touring schedule until at least 2022.

According to a report by WrestleVotes, the usual weekend live event schedule that includes four different locations on four different days isn’t expected to resume for more than a year.

This is good news for many current WWE stars since there were reports of the company looking to move back to their regular plans as soon as possible, but stalling a return to the “new normal” could be much safer for all of their employees.
