WWE’s stay with Amway Center is coming to a close at the end of next month, and the company is currently scouting new locations, according to WrestleVotes.
The company moved to the arena in August and renovated the arena with state of the art facilities, calling it the WWE Thunderdome. The deal with the arena was scheduled to end in October, but WWE got a month-long extension.
WWE used Thunderdome for four PPVs, and Survivor Series is all set to air from the arena next month. The company also aired RAW and Smackdown from the Amway Center for the last three months.
Although the government has lifted the lockdown restrictions in the state of Florida, WWE is still hesitant to bring back fans. This could be aimed at ensuring the safety and welfare of their talents.
