The penultimate episode of Monday Night Raw ahead of TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs takes place tonight as the build-up to some of the most anticipated matches continues. According to the rumor roundup by Cagesideseats, there are a number of sources that are claiming that many titles will change hands in California on December 16th.
Seth Rollins has already been revealed to be defending his Intercontinental Championship against former friend Dean Ambrose, whilst Nia Jax battles Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship.
Over on SmackDown Live, The New Day defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in a triple threat match against The Bar and The Usos, whilst AJ Styles fights Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship and the women make history as Becky Lynch defends the SmackDown Women’s Championship in the first ever Women’s TLC match against Charlotte and Asuka.
The Raw Tag Team Championship match between AOP and Chad Gable and Bobby Roode is expected to be announced tonight on Raw, which means that the company has a number of options when it comes to title changes.
The most likely would be the SmackDown Tag Team Championships and the Intercontinental Championship since both of these feud’s can be pushed forward into the new year with a change of title.
Rollins has had a fantastic year and the fact that he has dominated the Match of the Year candidates shows just how highly he is regarded in WWE at present, but he is expected to face Ambrose at WrestleMania 35 and if WWE wants this feud to progress then a Championship change is likely.

There are many options when it comes to shocking the WWE Universe at the final event of the year, but since Survivor Series wasn’t able to see any Championships change hands since there was only one title on the line, it makes sense that TLC has become the default option for the company.
