AJ Styles’ WWE Contract

AJ Styles steps into a WWE Championship match against Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble this weekend, but even though Styles held the WWE Championship for the best part of 2018, he isn’t expected to reclaim the title given the uncertainty surrounding his WWE future.

According to a report by Mike Johnson on PWInsider’s Elite Audio, Styles is yet to re-sign with WWE and his current deal is set to expire in April, which means that the former Champion could wrestle his final match for WWE at WrestleMania.

“Last I heard AJ’s deal is up sometime in April. I have not heard that they have come to terms on a new contract. That doesn’t mean that they won’t. That doesn’t mean that they will either,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Lars Sullivan Still In Good Footing With WWE?

Lars Sullivan was expected to make his debut on the main roster a few weeks ago now, but reports suggested that the former NXT star suffered an anxiety attack before he was able to appear on Monday Night Raw and has since been AWOL from the company.

It was originally reported that WWE had plans for Sullivan that could include a huge WrestleMania match against John Cena, but given the recent situation, this may not be the case anymore.

According to Cagesidenews recent rumor roundup, the word is that WWE is still high on Lars Sullivan and even though he is having a number of issues right now, this won’t affect his push when he is finally able to make his return to the company.

At present, it is unknown when Sullivan will make his return to WWE, but it’s clear that the company is willing to wait for him to green light the plans for his future.
