Becky Lynch has seemingly been running riot over the past few weeks despite being suspended by Vince McMahon last week on RAW and it appears that this is because The WWE Chairman sees Lynch as his “Chosen One.”

According to a report by The Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon was adamant that Lynch won the Women’s Royal Rumble this year no matter how many issues it would cause for the WrestleMania storyline in the coming months.

Lynch seems to have the backing of the boss despite what the story on WWE TV currently is and is now expected to find her way back into the RAW Women’s Championship match at the biggest event of the year.

WWE Preparing For Michael Cole’s Exit?

Michael Cole has been a heavy hitter on WWE TV for the past two decades after joining the company off the back of a successful journalism career back in 1997.

Cole has since moved into a position on commentary which sees him as the lead anchor on Monday Night RAW, but he could now be looking to move into a backstage role in the near future, so the company is now looking to prepare for his exit.

According to a report by The Wrestling Observer, WWE has a number of options for his replacement, including Tom Philips, who currently appears on SmackDown Live, but the company has also signed a number of new announcers in recent months to ensure that there is someone to take his place when the time comes.

The likes of Mauro Ranallo or even Nigel McGuiness should be considered for the role, but Ranallo chose to work on NXT to avoid the hectic travel schedule and McGuiness works better as a color commentator rather than the play-by-play anchor.
