Over the past month, Braun Strowman hasn’t been pushed into any meaningful storylines on WWE TV, he’s only recently surfaced as a member of the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday night. One of the reasons that WWE reportedly isn’t open to pushing The Monster Among Men is because of a botch that he was part of at WrestleMania 35.

Strowman was part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal after a lengthy storyline with Saturday Night Live stars Colin Jost and Michael Che. Even though Strowman went on to win the match, there was a point where this could have gone to his head because he missed a number of spots.

One of the most noticeable spots was when Luke Harper was suplexing Mustafa Ali out of the ring, Strowman should have been there to knock him out, but the duo had to re-do the spot because Strowman forgot to run in.

This led to Ali taking a dangerous bump on the outside and Luke Harper reportedly injuring his shoulder and back as he attempted to help the Cruiserweight star to make it to the ground without any issues.

According to a report by Fightful, Vince McMahon wasn’t happy about the botch and the fact that Strowman’s kick to his former Wyatt Family ally was also stiff made this even worse. Strowman allegedly then headed backstage and acted as though he had done nothing wrong which led to more heat on The Monster Among Men, since Luke Harper was fully aware of the situation.

Both Ali and Harper were injured as part of the spot, which can be seen above and this reportedly could be the reason why Strowman has seemingly been pushed down the card over the past few weeks and could be one of the reasons Harper has decided to call time on his WWE career.
