Daniel Bryan is rumored to be making his return to WWE TV this week on SmackDown Live after missing the last few weeks of action due to an unknown injury.
Brad Shepard reported that this injury was actually to do with his neck rather than a concussion, which was the official rumor which could be why according to a report by Ringsidenews, Bryan’s now being advertised for the company’s upcoming European Tour since his time on the sidelines is finally coming to an end.
WWE lands in the United Kingdom towards the end of the week and even though Bryan hasn’t been advertised for any WWE shows since his appearance at WrestleMania, he is back on the advertisements ahead of next week’s shows at the 02 Arena in London, England.
WWE was reportedly worried about the former WWE Champion’s health coming out of WrestleMania, which is why Kevin Owens was turned heel and given the storyline heading into Money in the Bank, an angle that was originally slated to be Bryan’s rematch, but injury has forced these plans to change.
Bryan and Erick Rowan could be in the running to become Tag Team Champions on Tuesday night on SmackDown Live, since The Hardyz were forced to relinquish the titles last week as part of the show, but it’s more likely that he will be thrown back in at the deep end.
Bryan could be added into the mix for the Money in the Bank WWE Championship match between Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens, since he does still have a rematch for the title that he lost to The New Day member just a few short weeks ago.
His future still remains to be seen, but the fact that he’s being advertised for upcoming events once again means that he will be back on WWE TV shortly and SmackDown Live will finally have another top heel on the show.
