Is Pete Dunne Heading To The Main Roster?

Last night on Monday Night Raw, the company teased next week’s Superstar Shakeup when they brought Kofi Kingston over from SmackDown Live. Of course, the Shakeup will actually be happening on Raw and SmackDown next week and in previous years, the Shakeup has included a number of call-ups.

Whil Kairi Sane and Candice LeRae are already notable names that could be heading to the Women’s Division, WWE could be looking to add a huge NXT name to the main roster in the form of Pete Dunne.

Dunne amassed almost two years as United Kingdom Champion before he was dethroned by Walter on Friday night at NXT Takeover: New York, which shows that the company is already quite invested in the British star.

Dave Meltzer recently discussed the Shakeup on The Wrestling Observer and confirmed that he had heard a rumor that Dunne was heading to the main roster.

“I’ve heard the rumor, but I don’t know for sure,” he said via Ringsidenews.

AJ Styles reportedly Struggling With A Hip Injury

AJ Styles defeated Randy Orton at WrestleMania on Sunday night, but he has been paying the price for his victory over the past two days since he’s now been pulled from this week’s episode of SmackDown Live because his injury has now been revealed and seems it could be serious than first thought.

Styles is struggling with a hip injury according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer and it appears that the injury was severe enough for him to catch a plane out of New York following the show on Sunday night.

This means that Styles will definitely not be part of tonight’s SmackDown Live show and hopefully the company will update the WWE Universe in the coming days regarding the severity of the injury.
