The Miz and Shane McMahon have been feuding on WWE TV since before WrestleMania and the rivalry has definitely become personal because McMahon has brought Miz’s father into the picture and he was legitimately injured as part of their match at WrestleMania.

Miz was moved over to Monday Night Raw as part of the Superstar Shake-up and it was thought that this would be the end of the feud but somehow the company has managed to continue pushing their feud over both Raw and SmackDown in recent weeks.

Shane McMahon and The Miz will collide at Money in the Bank inside a steel cage, but ahead of the pay-per-view next weekend, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter are reporting that McMahon could punish Miz for appearing on SmackDown Live this week.

It was noted that the actions of The Miz on SmackDown Live now: “gives Shane the right to discipline him next week. Or perhaps they don’t care about it.”

His father Vince McMahon created the “Wild Card Rule” on Monday Night Raw where he stated that only four superstars were allowed to make the move over to their rival brand on each episode of the show. AJ Styles, Sami Zayn and The Usos all came over to The Blue Brand on Tuesday night and the fact that The Miz was later seen meant that he was number five.

Of course, Elias did the same thing on Monday Night Raw and hasn’t faced any kind of punishment for invading the show without permission. The Wild Card Rule just appears to have made WWE’s main shows more confusing than before and if Miz does face punishment for making his way over to SmackDown Live then Elias should also face the same kind of reckoning.
