Was The Rock Backstage For Raw In Atlanta?
Last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw was pretty stacked since it included the huge returns of both Roman Reigns and Batista, but many reports throughout today have suggested that The Rock was also backstage for the show but didn’t appear on-screen.
There were a number of WWE legends backstage last night including Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Shawn Michaels and Sting but according to a report by RingSideNews, The Rock wasn’t even backstage.
The Great One was in Atlanta to film Jumanji which meant that feasibly he was able to be part of the show if WWE needed it, but he wasn’t actually there.
The Raw script was on time and there was never a plan for The Rock to be added to the show, this could be because the company may not have wanted The Rock to overshadow Roman’s return much like his Royal Rumble win back in 2015.
Fatal Four-Way Match Could Be Added To WWE Fastlane
Fastlane is merely weeks away now and it appears that the card is beginning to take shape, WWE has a number of options right now for all of their title matches but the Raw Tag Team Championships still remain up in the air.
Over the past few weeks, The Revival have gained a number of enemies. Some of these include Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano who they lost to last week on Raw and fellow NXT call-ups Aleister Black and Ricochet who were able to pick up the win over The Top Guys in a non-title match this past week.
Chad Gable and Bobby Roode could also claim another shot at the Tag Team Championships as well which could be why Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer believes that WWE could be planning a fatal four-way match for the titles at Fastlane because Monday Night Raw really need to add some action to the event.
