Ronda Rousey Wrestles Entire Main Event Match With A Broken Hand
Ronda Rousey lost her Women’s Championship in the main event of last night’s WrestleMania in what is expected to be her final WWE match. Many of the WWE Universe wondered why Rousey seemed somewhat toned down last night and didn’t actually lock in her patented arm bar.
This is because the former Women’s Champion was diagnosed with a broken hand just before the show, which could be why she was unable to lock in the move. Rousey is obviously a fighter and was able to maintain her professionalism to get through the match, before she was pinned by Becky Lynch.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer confirmed Rousey’s injury on the latest edition of the show.
“I have some news. Ronda has a broken hand. A severely broken hand. She was just diagnosed with it,” he said via Ringsidenews.
Ronda Rousey’s WWE Future Still Up In The Air Following WrestleMania Loss
Ronda Rousey has been rumored to be leaving WWE over the past few months following her first WWE loss last night and it’s now reported that The Baddest Woman On The Planet has left the company for the foreseeable future.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer updated the WWE Universe on whether Ronda Rousey will be sticking around WWE following her title loss since technically she should have a rematch clause and the most recent reports suggested that she was questioning whether or not she wanted to leave the company.
“This was scheduled to be her last match. It is her last match. Will she come back at some point? Obviously, that’s up to her. You know could she be back, whenever? You know there’s no timetable for anything for Ronda Rousey at this point,” he said via Ringsidenews.
