Huge Name Backstage Ahead Of Raw?
Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to be the setting for a number of interesting segments since Ric Flair is set to celebrate his 70th Birthday, Roman Reigns returns to Raw for the first time since he announced his Leukemia diagnosis back in October and it’s also the penultimate episode of Raw ahead of next weekend’s Fastlane pay-per-view.
Of course, Ric Flair’s Birthday celebrations mean that there will be a number of recognizable faces in town and that reportedly includes WWE Hall of Famer Sting. WrestlingInc is reporting that the WCW legend is backstage and prepared to make his first live appearance since his 2016 Hall of Fame induction.
Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat has also been reportedly spotted backstage while the man who retired Flair all those years ago, Shawn Michaels has also teased that he will be on Raw for the first time since his Crown Jewel victory back in November.
There is just one month to WrestleMania and it appears that the legends are gathering tonight and preparing to open Monday Night Raw with a star-studded segment as two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair celebrates turning 70 in style.
The Shield Set To Reunite At Fastlane?
As already stated, Ric Flair’s party isn’t the only reason to tune into tonight’s episode of Raw since Roman Reigns is also set to be in attendance and prepared to update the WWE Universe on his current medical state after spending more than four months away from the company following his Leukemia revelation back in October.
Whilst WWE has been very secretive about what announcement Reigns could be making on Raw tonight, there have been several reports that indicate that The Shield could reunite at Fastlane.
Ringsidenews is reporting that The Shield is set to reunite in some capacity which could mean that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose could team with Braun Strowman against Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin with Roman Reigns in their corner.
Reigns’ announcement doesn’t have to be that he’s returning to the ring, but he is expected to make a number of other appearances in the near future.
