Vince McMahon has long been a billionaire and his ultra-deep pockets allows him to sign any talent he wishes to, even if that means spending half a million bucks on an undercard talent.

On Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross revealed that Mr. McMahon is offering a staggering amount to “undercard” guys for the sole purpose of just staying with the company.

“I asked about an undercard guy in WWE that helps the other guys learn and they said he was not available because he just signed a new WWE deal for $500K. Not because he would be used but just to keep him off the streets.”

It is to be noted that Ross is no longer a WWE talent since he recently signed a lucrative deal with All Elite Wrestling.

At this point, WWE doesn’t want to lose any talent in fears that an ex-Superstar might go on to become a bigger name in some rival promotion, let alone the independent circuit.
