Sasha Banks and Bayley Will Be Given Huge WrestleMania Match
This weekend at Fastlane, Sasha Banks and Bayley will be defending the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Nia Jax and Tamina.
Bayley and Banks only recently became the first ever Champions and it appears that the company could be planning a huge tri-branded match for the two women at WrestleMania next month.
Banks and Bayley stated that they would be defending the Championship against women from SmackDown Live, Raw and NXT and Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer believes that all three brands will be part of their match at WrestleMania.
“We do have Bayley and Sasha Banks as Women’s Tag Team Champions and they’re probably going to have a major match on the WrestleMania show. The rumors — I don’t know if this is what they’re going to do, but based on what I’ve heard and the storylines they’ve done on television I would presume it’s gonna be a multi-brand tag match where they’re going to defend the belts — probably four corners against a team from RAW, a team from SmackDown, and a team from NXT,” he said via Ringsidenews.
Does Lars Sullivan Have A Future In WWE?
Lars Sullivan was built as a monster throughout his time in NXT, but ever since his promotion to the main roster he has seemingly been on quite the downfall.
Sullivan was originally set to debut on Monday Night Raw months ago alongside the likes of Heavy Machinery, EC3 and Lacey Evans, but an anxiety attack forced him to be sidelined and he hasn’t made contact with WWE since.
Sullivan was reported to be the man set to face John Cena at WrestleMania, but now The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE could have a new opponent in mind for Cena, which isn’t a good sign for Lars Sullivan in WWE.
“There will not be any good news on Lars Sullivan because they were waiting and waiting and that appeared to be the idea for [John Cena’s WrestleMania match],” he said via Ringsidenews.
