Royal Rumble welcomes the WWE Universe on the Road To WrestleMania, so the company is aware that if the Rumble isn’t on a level that many fans expect, it could harm their chances of breaking records at WrestleMania.

There are so many options when it comes to surprises that WWE could be planning for the Royal Rumble this weekend, which includes bringing in new names and returning faces in order to pop the crowd.

There have been a number of names mentioned over the past few days which include the likes of Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, Bray Wyatt, Tye Dillinger and Triple H who are all cleared and ready to make their return when the creative team has something in mind for them.

The Women’s Royal Rumble has been the focus of WWE programming over the past few weeks, but it could be the men’s Rumble that holds the most surprises since this is the match that WWE are keeping closest to their chest.

Since the winner of the Men’s Royal Rumble match is still up in the air, it could be interesting to see if The Rock is able to make his return as many dirt sheets have claimed over the past few months.

Royal Rumble is always open to surprises, and is seen as one of the best pay-per-views of the year because of the unpredictability of the show overall, but this year’s Rumble includes a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match with the winners expected to be Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
