WWE Planning To End Ronda Rousey’s Undefeated Streak?

The Raw Women’s Champion has been undefeated for almost a year

Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut back at the Royal Rumble in January and she is still yet to lose a match inside the squared circle as the former UFC Champion has been the subject of a huge push in WWE over the past year.

The current Raw Women’s Champion has made herself a number of enemies in this time and even though her focus is solely on Nia Jax at present, Charlotte and Becky Lynch see Rousey as a woman with a target on her back.

This week on Raw, Drew McIntyre’s undefeated streak came to an end on Raw and Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer recently discussed the fact that WWE doesn’t like giving their superstars undefeated streaks, which means that they could be planning for Rousey’s to come to an end in the near future.

“They like to make sure that nobody has unbeaten streaks or anything like that. They try to get rid of those. I’m trying to figure out how they’re gonna get rid of the Ronda Rousey one. I think they’re sitting here plotting, God… as long as it’s not Nia Jax,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Since Asuka’s streak was ended at WrestleMania last year, the most obvious answer to this would be to allow The Lasskicker to defeat Rousey at WrestleMania next year if they have a grudge match that could be seen as the main event of the show.

It would be the perfect way to make Lynch the face of the Women’s Division and it wouldn’t be as hard a hit for Rousey if she’s defeated in the main event of the biggest event of the year.
